Evening Trick-or-Treat Hours in Greendale

The hours have been amended from other years.

The Village Board changed the Trick-or-Treating hours to 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. from the previous years’ hours.

The Halloween Parade will be at noon on October 30. Other years Trick-or-Treating is followed after the parade from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. This year the decided to change that to evening hours.

Trustee Carl Gentz and other trustees said that they heard resident interest in evening hours. A few of the trustees reminisced on the Trick-or-Treating evening hours they had as children on Tuesday's meeting.

The board unanimously voted to amend the hours to evening hours. The public celebrations committee voted to have the parade start at 3 p.m. this year after the Board of Trustees changed the Trick-or-Treating hours.

The parade route will be the same as previous years and start at Brinkman Field and proceed North on Broad Street to the Reiman Visitor’s Center, where the children will receive candy.  Over 500 children walking in costume are expected for the parade.
