Even though Greendale does not have a recall election there are still people within Greendale that are being affected by the election.
Eric Christiansen, a Greendale High School Drama and English teacher, starred in a commercial supporting Sandy Pasch in the recall election against Republican State Sen. Alberta Darling.
Christiansen, a Whitefish Bay resident, says in the commercial that he has always voted Republican, however, this time around he will vote for Democrat Pasch.

"To me nothing is more important than education but Alberta Darling voted for budget cuts that hurt our community schools all to give tax cuts to the rich and corporations," Christiansen said in the commercial.
