Evening Trick-or-Treat Slated for Greendale

Greendale trick-or-treat hours have been set for 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 28, following the annual Halloween parade.

Greendale's trick-or-treat hours will again give parents the option for daytime or evening candy collection.

Village officials set trick-or-treat hours from 4 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 28, keeping them the same as last year. Previously, .

Residents liked the change, according to a memo from Village Manager Todd Michaels, at least in part because the later hours give families the option for taking children trick-or-treating in daylight or darkness.

The Halloweed festivities begin at 3 p.m. Oct. 28, with the Public Celebrations Committee's annual Halloween parade. The parade is expected to attract more than 500 children walking in costume and is expected to last 45-60 minutes.
