Plan Commission Reviewing Macy's Plan Tonight

The Greendale Village Board's Plan Commission is meeting tonight to discuss the Macy's proposal at Southridge Mall and a proposed Walmart in the village. 

According to the agenda here's the issues that will come up tonight:

  • The Greendale planning commission will review and consider a special use request by Macy's Inc. for the alteration of the former multiple-tenant mercantile structure into a Macy's full-line department store at Southridge Mall.
  • Review and consider an application for the rezoning of property located at 5201 S. 76th St. from the A-Agricultural District and R-1 Residential District to the B-3 General Business District. The property. (The land that might be  sold by Martin Luther High School to Wal-Mart.)
  • Review and consider a special use/building permit application for the construction of a Wal-Mart Store; a Special Use Certified Survey Map (CSM); Site Plan, Landscape Plan, and Lighting Plan at 5301 S. 76th St.
