Chadwick suggested adding "no construction on holidays" onto the ordinance. The ordinance current states there will only be construction “between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., except in the case of urgent necessity in the interests of public health and safety and then only with a permit from the Director of Inspection Services, which permit may be granted for a period not to exceed three days or less while the emergency continues and which permit may be renewed for periods of three days or less while the emergency continues.”
Chadwick also suggested adopting an ordinace similar to Whitefish Bay where construction stops at 7 p.m. instead of 8 p.m.
