Southridge Boston Store Plans to Renovate Exterior

The store is currently renovating its interior and plans to renovate its exterior now.

Southridge  has submitted an application to the Village of Greendale requesting to renovate both its north and west entrances.

The Village Board will review the request on July 5.

The application says the estimated cost for the renovation is $150,000.

Boston Store is undergoing an $8 million interior renovation with the help of a $3 million TIF district from the Village. Renovations are expected to be done soon. 

This also comes during a $52 million renovation of , also funded through a TIF district.

I'd like to see an accounting of where the $8 million was spent on the interior of the store since a TIF was used. The renovations look like they couldn't have cost more than $2-3 million. They didn't even replace the drop ceiling.

Can we get Penny's to renovate their exterior too? Next to Macy's, it looks very dated!!!
