As of Now Greendale Teachers Are Not Forming Protest to Walker's Bill

Bill would limit the collective bargaining rights of government employees.

Teachers and public employees around the state are not happy with Gov. Scott Walker’s budget repair bill, which calls for the limitation of collective bargaining for benefits, according to a local union official.

Pam Merkel, president of the Greendale teachers' union, said, "It’s going to hurt a lot of people . It’s going to take money out of the pockets of the middle class. It's going to affect teachers and three quaters of union members. I think it's wrong."

She also said no teachers have suspiciously reported sick.
