American Legion Selling Poppies to Benefit Veterans

The Village Board approved a special permit request from the American Legion to sell poppies in May to help the needs of Veterans.

The Greendale Village Board approved the annual request from the to sell poppies on May 18 and 19 outside of .

The poppy is the official flower for the American Legion Auxilary.

Proceeds of the sale will be used to assist Veterans’ needs and rehabilitation.

The sale will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 18 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 19.
