Abele Spent More Than $1 Million of His Own Money on Campaign
A total of $1.4 million was used toward Chris Abele's Milwaukee County Executive race campaign.
Out of $1.4 million spent on the Chris Abele's Milwaukee County Executive campaign race against State Rep. Jeff Stone of Greendale, Abele contributed over $1 million of his own money, reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The Abele campaign spent a total of $1.37 million and still had a cash balance of nearly $67,000.
Abele has also said he will return donations from about five county employees after it was discovered that Abele improperly from the workers.
