2 Village Board Seats Open for Election in 2013

One candidate has filed candidacy papers with others considering running.

One candidate has filed papers and several others have taken out papers for two open positions on the Greendale Village Board to be elected this spring, according to the Village Clerk’s Office.

Village Trustees Ronald Barbian's and Carl Genz's seats are open for the April 2 election.

Barbian has filed candidacy papers to be re-elected. Genz has not yet filed papers for the spring election; however, he also did not file papers of indicating he would not be running. The notification of non-candidacy was due Dec. 21.

Nomination papers and candidacy forms are due by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2.

To qualify as a candidate a person must get at least 20, but no more than 100, signatures from qualified voters who reside in the Village of Greendale.
