Woman Faces Felony For Stealing from Boston Store
Suspect tells police she's between a rock and a hard place.
A 56-year-old Milwaukee woman is facing felony theft charges after she was caught allegedly trying to steal clothes from in .
Jewel C. Prtichard was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of felony retail theft and three counts of bail jumping. If convicted, she faces up to nearly five years in prison and $40,000 in fines.

At 2:13 p.m. Friday, Pritchard was seen by a Boston Store security employee taking clothes, balling them up and putting them in a bag, then leaving the store without paying for them. She was stopped with the clothes and was placed under arrest.
Prtichard told Greendale police officers she took the items because she’s “between a rock and a hard place.” Eight clothing items were taken, with a total value of $614.

She’s currently being held in Milwaukee County Jail on $750 bond.
