At 3:17 p.m. Dec. 3, a security officer at Boston Store saw Fredrichs enter the store, take several items then walk into a fitting room with one shopping bag, then emerge later with two bags. Fredrichs then left the store without paying.

Fredrichs tried to flee the security officer, but was apprehended. She had $498 in stolen merchandise with her, which is just $2 shy of being charged with felony retail theft.
