Three girls face juvenile charges for the
Two girls were charged with conspiracy to commit bomb scare and one was charged with committing a bomb scare, according to Greendale Capt. Ryan Rosenow.
The bomb threat was discovered March 12 in a girls’ restroom. The message was written on a bathroom wall. The note said the bomb would go off at the school later that week.
The girls told investigators they did it because they wanted to get out of school early to enjoy the nice weather.
The entire high school was searched by police using bomb-sniffing dogs before Greendale Police declared it clear. Classes were held the entire week with extra security precautions.
Rosenow said he believes that the Milwaukee County District Attorney was able to prove that three of the five girls played a bigger role.
No further information was immediately available from the District Attorney's Office.
