Five Students Arrested for Bomb Threat Among Top 2012 Stories

Patch will be counting down the top Greendale stories of 2012 leading up to New Year Day. Today's story is about five teenage girls who told investigators they made a bomb threat to get out of school early because of the nice weather.

Five female Greendale High School students were taken into custody for a March bomb threat made at the school because they told investigators they wanted to leave school early due to the nice weather.

The bomb threat was discovered in a Greendale High School girls’ restroom. The message was written on a bathroom wall.

The note said the bomb would go off at the school later that week. After being caught they later told investigators that they did it because they wanted to get out of school early to enjoy the nice weather.
