On Aug. 22, a Greendale police officer spotted Host in the 5900 block of West Loomis Road doing 59 miles per hour in a 45 miles per hour speed zone. The officer pulled him over and could smell alcohol coming from inside the car.

Host failed several field sobriety tests, then became argumentative and uncooperative with the officer, so he was placed under arrest. He was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital for a blood test, which revealed a blood alcohol level of 0.101.
