Police: Women Held Against Their Will In Van

A 36-year-old man was arrested for false imprisonment Feb. 17. This week's police reports also include a man's third drunken driving arrest.

These incidents are part of the Greendale Police Department's weekly call sheet from Feb. 15-21.

A 36-year-old man was arrested for false imprisonment about 1:45 p.m. Feb. 17 after a report of two women being held against their will inside a van.

A man was arrested for operating after revocation following a traffic stop at Edgerton Avenue and 76th Street about 1:40 p.m. Feb. 21.

A 27-year-old man was arrested for bail jumping and resisting police after he was intoxicated and threatening a man about 6:30 p.m. Feb. 20. He was taken to county jail.

A 38-year-old man was arrested for operating after revocation following a traffic stop at College Avenue and Riverdale Lane about 10:10 a.m. Feb. 20.

A 51-year-old man was arrested for his third drunken driving offense at Catalpa Street and Clover Lane about 1:05 a.m. Feb. 17.

A 32-year-old woman was arrested for operating after revocation following a traffic stop in the 7400 block of W. Edgerton Ave. about 6:05 p.m. Feb. 16.

Retail Theft:

  • Six thefts at Kohl's
  • Two thefts at Walmart
  • One theft at Sears
  • One theft at Boston Store
  • One theft at Deb
  • One theft at JCPenney

Bren: I know you are worried about Walmart's theft count since they opened. It is now up to six--the same number that Kohl's has had in the past week.

Thanks for keeping count, bro! On the plus side, that's six thefts fewer at the mall. On the dark side, there's a few more criminals next to the high school and parking lot.

Keep in mind that number is also influenced by how well the store security catches the thiefs. There is a lot more stealing that goes on and is not stopped.
