Police Respond to Trio of Serious Domestic Violence Calls

The Greendale Police Department responded to a trio of serious, unrelated domestic violence calls last week, including two incidents in which the victim’s lives were threatened.

The first incident occurred Sept. 6, on Greenway, where a woman told police her boyfriend, who had beat and strangled her in the past, was on his way to her apartment with the intent to kill her.

Police made phone contact with the man, who told them he had taken the victim’s car and was on his way to Chicago. He refused to return to the apartment, but two days later, the victim’s car showed up in the apartment complex’s parking lot
