Police: Harassing Caller Makes Bomb Threat

This week's police reports include a small fire at Sears, underage drinking and drunken driving.

These incidents are part of the Greendale Police Department's weekly call sheet from Jan. 4-11.

A 47-year-old woman reported about 9:10 a.m. Jan. 11 that she received numerous harassing phone calls from an unidentified male. In one of them, he said a bomb would go off in a half hour.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving after she was pulled over at 76th and Grange for speeding just before 2 a.m. Jan. 11.

A 25-year-old man was taken to Froedtert Hospital after an accident at Loomis Road and 68th Street about 12:15 p.m. Jan. 11.

A police officer put out a small fire near the west doors of Sears just after 8 p.m. Jan. 11. Police arrested a boy in connection with the incident.

A catalytic converter was stolen off a vehicle Jan. 8 at Southridge.

A man and a woman said a white male in his 30s with a long beard and driving a green Pontiac chased them Jan. 7. They said he may have shown a handgun but were not sure. After driving to the Southridge parking lot and meeting with police, officers arrested them for marijuana possession. Police reviewed surveillance footage from Sears and the mall but could not identify the person in the Pontiac.

Five people, ages 17 to 19, were cited for underage drinking after a noise complaint in the 7100 block of E. Euston St. about 11:50 p.m. Jan. 5.
