Police: Drunken Driver Almost Strikes Squad Car

This week's police reports also include an underage party bust, an off-roading attempt gone bad and graffiti at the community center park.

These incidents are part of the Greendale Police Department's weekly call sheet from April 12-19.

A man was arrested for drunken driving after almost striking a squad car and forcing him off the road about 9:15 p.m. April 16. Police followed the vehicle and stopped it on northbound Interstate 43 near Michigan Street, where sheriff's deputies took the man into custody.

A woman robbed at 35th Street and Greenfield Avenue in Milwaukee followed the offender's vehicle into Greendale about 5:45 p.m. April 12. Milwaukee police responded to her 911 call.

A woman told police her ex-boyfriend threw a bag of pill bottles out a car window in the 5600 block of Churchway about 8:15 p.m. April 12. Officers recovered 46 containers of Oxycodone, methadone and morphine.

Graffiti was found in the 6200 block of S. 76th St., on the community center pavilion doors, wall and playground slides, about 2:55 a.m. April 13.

Someone damaged two dryers and removed coins in an apartment building in the 6200 block of S. 51st St. between 7:30 p.m. April 12 and 10:25 a.m. April 13.

A man was arrested for disorderly conduct-domestic violence in the 6600 block of Greenway about 2:15 p.m. April 13.

Police responding to a noise complaint in the 6600 block of Greenway cited six people for underage drinking and one person for allowing minors to drink alcohol about 12:30 a.m. April 14.

About $200 was stolen from a woman's purse while she worked at Southridge Mall April 12. Police were reviewing video surveillance which showed another employee taking the money.

A woman "off-roading" in the 7900 block of Root River Parkway got stuck in the golf practice area and was cited for disorderly conduct-with motor vehicle and criminal damage to property about 7:30 p.m. April 17.

A man was arrested for violation of parole, physical abuse of a child, intimidation of witness and domestic violence-disorderly conduct in the 6000 block of Oakwood Lane about 4:20 p.m. April 18.
