Police Blotter: Motorcycle on Fire; Naked Man; Burglaries

Read about several teen being arrested for underage drinking and drug possession, a motorcycle on fire, a few burglaries and a naked man.

These incidents are part of the call sheet from Greendale police from June 8 to June 14.

Greendale Police chased some teens on foot after the manager of an apartment building on Eastway reported two suspicious people looking through car windows in the parking lot on June 8. One juvenile girl was arrested for underage drinking.

A resident reported a man dropping his motorcycle, which then caught on fire on June 8 near 43rd Street and College Avenue. The man put the fire out, picked up the bike and drove off. The 41-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving with a blood alcohol content of .18 on June 8.

A fight in the food court at was reported on June 8. A 20-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and ID card violation. Another 21-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct.

A 19-year-old man and 17-year-old boy were arrested for possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana on the 5400 block of 76th Street.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia on June 9 on the 6400 block of Sycamore Street.

A burglary was on reported on June 9 on the 6200 block of Sherwood Road and resulted in the theft of $120.

A naked man standing in the grass was whipping a string around behind a building. The 52-year-old man was arrested for lewd and lascivious behavior on June 9.

While on a daytrip to Madison a couple’s home was burglarized on the 7100 block of Earl Avenue. Jewelry and an X-Box were stolen.

Four teens were arrested on the 5900 block of Loomis Road on June 10.  A 17-year-old boy was arrested for underage drinking, another 17-year-old boy was arrested for underage possession of tobacco, another 17-year-old boy was arrested and cited for underage drinking, and two juvenile girls were arrested for underage drinking.

A boy called police reporting that his father was choking his fiancé inside their home on the 5500 block of Grandview Drive on June 11.  The 36-year-old man was arrested for battery and strangulation.

A woman on the 8800 block of Greenview Lane reported her wedding ring missing on June 12. Woman said that it could have been her son’s friend.

A man reported that his son’s Yamaha Trombone was either lost or stolen while at Canterbury Elementary School on June 12.

A juvenile boy was arrested after he hit his father in the head with a piece of wood on June 14 on the 5400 block of Leroy Lane.
