Police Blotter: Man Threatening to Blow Up Apartments; Eggs Thrown at Residents

Read about some of the lastest crimes in Greendale that include a third offense OWI, teens throwing eggs at residents and a bomb threat at Crocus Courts.

These incidents are part of the Greendale police's weekly call sheet  from June 22 to June 28.

A resident in the Crocus Court apartments called police on June 22 saying that a neighbor was threatening to start a fight and yelled something about a bomb, explosion and a place about to be blown up.  The 62-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed and resisting. . He also claimed to have bombs to blow the place up before eventually arming himself with kitchen knives when police officers arrived.

Four teens were arrested after throwing eggs as residents as they drove past them. The resident said a gold car drove past them in front of their home as they were getting into their own car and threw eggs at them. She followed the car into the Village Center. One juvenile male, an 18-year-old man and two 17-year-old boys were arrested for disorderly conduct. One of them was also arrested for possession of marijuana.

A 40-year-old man was arrested for lewd and lascivious behavior at Root River Parkway on June 22.

A 46-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence and strangulation after his stepson called police saying he was chocked and punched by him on June 22.

A man reported on June 24 to police that his brother used his name and date of birth when stopped by Greendale Police for a traffic violation several months ago.

A woman reported her nanny missing on June 24. Orvia Hazel Todenio, 31, was entered missing.

A 60-year-old Franklin man was arrested for third offense drunken driving with a blood alcohol content of .17 on June 25 near 76th Street and Rawson Avenue.

A Kindle and several credits cards were stolen from a woman’s purse after she left it overnight on the front step while she was watering her flowers on June 27 on the 5700 block of Rochelle Drive.
