Police Blotter: Kids Throwing Rocks at a Home

  • A 17-year-old girl was arrested on September 6 for receiving stolen property, in case it was license plates, on the 6700 block of Northway.
  • Another set of  plates were stolen on the 6700 block Northway on September 9.
  • A man called police on September 9 at around 6 a.m. and told them that some boys had been calling his home and throwing rocks at his windows since 4 a.m. Three boys were arrested for disorderly conduct.
  • Neighbors reported people screaming outside and yelling that they were going to break down a door on Ramsey Avenue on September 7. A caller said that someone was yelling for help. A person was taken to the hospital for medical clearance.
  • Two men were arrested for fighting in the rear parking lot of Southridge Plaza on September 9.
  • A 23-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after his mother reported to police that he was high on heroin on the 6700 block of Northway.
  • A 41-year-old man was arrested for possession of stolen property on September 10 after a traffic stop near West Edgerton and 60th Street.
