Police Blotter: Fights at the Mall, Chimney Fire, Several Retail Thefts

Read about Greendale's crime from last week involving a Greendale man's third OWI, a small chimney fire and possible gang fight at Southridge Mall.

The incidents below are part of the call sheet from Greendale police from March 16 to March 22:

A 20-year-old man was arrested for possession of narcotics and possession of marijuana on March 24 at Another 24-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana.

A rock was thrown at a home’s window on the 5000 block of College Avenue while the resident was out of town on March 25.

A 20-year-old man was arrested for theft after he drove off and did not pay for gas at on March 25.

A small chimney fire broke out on the 6100 block of Churchwood Lane on March 26. The fire was contained.

A woman’s purse was stolen at on March 26. There were unauthorized charges made to several credit cards.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested for possession of marijuana at Root River Parkway Area 2 on March 30.

A 23-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were arrested for disorderly conduct getting into a physical altercation on March 30 on the 5900 block of Dale Lane.

A 30-year-old man was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and loitering on March 31 on the 6200 block of Sherwood Lane.

A 63-year-old Greendale man was arrested for third operating while intoxicated offense on March 31 on the 8600 block of Westlake Drive.

Six men were arrested for fighting at on April 1. The call report said that it might have been a gang related fight.
