Police Blotter: Defacing Baseball Field; Man arrested for Shooting at Birds

These are the reports from April 25 to May 1.

A 23-year-old man was arrested for defacing property after he drove a gray Ford Taurus through the baseball field at the Greendale Community Center Park. Police say that the damage was estimated at $2600, but don't have a final estimate.

An 18-year-old man was shooting birds with a gun at Scout Park Lake on Saturday. He was arrested for obstructing, possession of firearm in a county park and cruelty towards animals.

An employee at M & I Bank was hurt when the furnace he was working on in the basement experienced a blowback on April 27. A rescue responded.

A girl was arrested for possession of tobacco, underage intoxication, resisting physical and possession of marijuana on Saturday around Eastway and Sugarbush Court. A boy was also arrested for underage intoxication.

A girl was cited for trespassing in the food court at Southridge Mall on April 27.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at the 84th Street and Root River Pkwy on Thursday.

A man reported identity theft on Thursday after someone opened a Verizon account in his name with his address.

A vehicle was damaged in one of the parking lots on Broad Street near the Reiman Visitor Center on Sunday. Side mirrors were broken and profanities were scratched in the paint.
