Police Blotter: Car Chases Running Man; Burglary; Illegal Fireworks

Read about some of the lastest crimes in Greendale that include underage drinking, sexual harassment and a car chasing a man.

These incidents are part of the Greendale police's weekly call sheet  from June 29 to July 5.

A woman on the 4800 block of Sutton Lane reported a person harassing her over the phone saying “your dead” on June 29.

A 28-year-old Greenfield man was arrested for drunken driving with a blood alcohol content of .21 near Northway and Broad Street on June 30.

A woman reported that her brother-in-law come over to her house on June 30 and was inappropriately attempting to touch her under her shirt. The woman later went to the station and decided not to purse charges.

Parents of a 4-year-old boy reported that a 12 or 13-year-old boy touched their son in his genital area at Greendale Community Center Park on June 30. The boy was arrested fro first-degree sexual assault.

A home on the 5800 block of Euston Street was burglarized while the residents were away on vacation sometime between June 29 and July 1. A Nintendo WII Console, Samsung Blu-Ray player and an HP laptop were stolen.

A 24-year-old man was arrested for providing alcohol to a minor, a 19-year-old woman and 20-year-old woman were arrested for underage drinking after a woman reported a verbal argument between the three on the 6500 block of Greenway.

A resident on the 5500 block of Rainbow Drive reported seeing a car chase a running man, and then heard the car pull into a yard and saw broken glass on July 2. The 42-year-old driver was arrested for battery and cited for OWI. His blood was drawn at the hospital.

A 30-year-old man was arrested for being drunk behind the wheel after he was found near Loomis Road and the I-894 exit on July 4.

Ten juveniles were reported to be lighting off bottle rockets on July 4 on the 8200 block of Fairmont Lane. A 20-year-old man was arrested for underage drinking and use of fireworks.

A 44-year-old St. Francis man was arrested for operating while intoxicated near 76th Street and Rawson Avenue July 5.
