Police Blotter: A Valentines Day Threat, Baby with Fractured Arm, Woman Reports Choking

These are the police reports from Feb. 14 to Feb. 20.

A woman reported on Sunday that her 30-year-old husband was being physically and verbally abusive on the 5300 block of Radcliff Dr. She said he choked her, pushed out of bed and threatened to hit her with a chair. He took her cell phone and nailed the front door shut, according to police reports. The husband was arrested and later released.

A man reported that his neighbor called him on Feb. 14 and threatened to bash all of their heads in for calling the police on him.

 A social worker reported that a six-month-old girl had a fracture to her right arm on Wednesday.

A woman reported that her friend on Dorchester Lane took an overdose of Zainex in attempt to end her life. The woman was taken to St. Lukes Hospital and later to transported to Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex.

  • A 26-year-old woman was arrested at a traffic stop on South 51st Street and Ramsey Avenue on Wednesday for drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended licence.

THEFT

  • A man reported that his license plates were stolen from his car at the mall on Thursday.

DRUNK DRIVING

  • A 31-year-old man was arrested for first offense drunk driving on College Avenue and South 60th Street.

VIOLENCE

  • A woman reported that her husband was physically abusive on Sunday.  The 40-year-old husband was arrested and later released.

RETAIL THEFT

  • A girl was arrested for theft on Tuesday at Sears at around 5 p.m.
  • A girl was arrested for theft on Wednesday at Sears at around noon.
  • A 19-year-old man was arrested for theft on Thursday at Spencers at around 1 p.m.
  • A girl was arrested for theft on Thursday at Claire’s at around 1 p.m.
  • A 26-year-old man was arrested for theft on Wednesday at Sears at around 7 p.m.
  • A 19-year-old woman and a 57-year-old woman were arrested on Sunday for theft at JCPenney at around 2 p.m.
