Just days after a pair of tool thefts were reported to Greendale police, two more victims told police they too had their tools taken.
According to the Greendale Police Department media summary, a victim said several tools were taken from a a locked vehicle parked in a driveway overnight in the 5700 block of Rochelle Drive on Sept. 20.
The thief gained entry to the vehicle by removing the door handle and locking mechanism and prying the passenger door open.
Just down the road that evening, a victim reported a large amount of tools were taken from a trailer parked outside overnight. The thief entered the trailer by cutting bolt locks, police said.
