Man With Ski Mask and Loaded Gun in Greendale Faces Charges

Suspect had the gun hidden under the ski mask on his passenger seat after getting pulled over by Greendale police.

A 21-year-old Milwaukee man is facing charges after he was caught driving through Greendale with a loaded .45 caliber pistol on his passenger seat with a ski mask.

Adam S. Rutkowski was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Thursday with one count of carrying a concealed weapon. If convicted, he faces up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines.

On Nov. 5, Rutkowski was pulled over by in the 6000 block of West Loomis Road when the officer discovered he had the loaded handgun sitting on the passenger seat and concealed under a ski mask. Rutkowski told the officer he didn’t have a permit for the weapon.

He’s scheduled to make his initial appearance in court Dec. 6.
