Malasuk Selected as President of the Wisconsin Association of Homicide Investigators

Greendale interim police chief Robert Malasuk was chosen for the position today at a seminar.

Greendale Police Interim Chief Robert M. Malasuk was selected as the 2013 president of the Wisconsin Association of Homicide Investigators at the annual training seminar in Sheboygan today.

Malasuk is a finalist for the permanent Greendale Police Chief position, along with five other finalists. The Greendale Police and Fire Commission will be interviewing the candidates during the week of May 16, said commission president David Wilmoth.

The other candidates being considered as Greendale Police Chief are Patrick M. Balistrieri, Gregory A. Habeck, Randolph Pruss, Eric G. Schroeder and Barry M. Weber.

Malasuk will serve as the second vice-president in 2011 for the association, first vice-president in 2012 and will assume the duties of president in 2013.

Malasuk has been a board member of the association for ten years and has taught criminology at the college level, according to current WAHI president Dana Nigbor.
