Greendale Swat Team Respond to Suicide Threat

The Greendale/Franklin combined SWAT Team responded to an apartment on Crocus Court on May 31.

The Crisis Crime Center called Greendale police on Thursday, May 31 reporting a man was making suicidal statements and had a gun in his Greendale apartment at 7:15 p.m.

The Greendale/Franklin combined SWAT Team responded to the apartment on Crocus Court in the Village Center.

The man told told the Crisis Center there were three other people with him in the apartment. When police took him into custody at 9:56 p.m. there was no one else found in the apartment. There was no gun found either.

Mutual aid patrol units responded from Greenfield and Franklin for traffic control.

No one was hurt.
