Greendale Police Blotter: Dine and Dash on V-Day; Suicide; Burglary

Police reports from February 10 to February 16.

These incidents are part of the call sheet from Greendale police:

A caregiver at Ridgedale Apartments on the 7700 block of Grange Avenue reported a suicide by gunshot to the head on Feb. 10.

A house was broken into and items were stolen on Feb. 13 on the 6700 block of Northway.

A dine and dash occurred at Ruby Tuesday on Valentine’s Day. The dashers handed the waitress the binder and walked out. The waitress opened the binder only to find the receipt. She ran out and called out to them. The dashers ignored her, got in the car and headed southbound on 76th Street.

A 25-year-old Franklin man was arrested for operating while intoxicated with a BAC of .12 and possession of marijuana on Feb. 11 near 76th Street and Edgerton Avenue.

A woman’s credit card as stolen at Southridge Mall on Feb. 10 and used to make several purchases.

A 21-year-old man was arrested for fighting on Feb. 11 at Southridge Mall.

A 20-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he was fighting with a juvenile boy at Southridge Mall on Feb. 11.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested for possession of marijuana at Greendale High School on Feb. 15.

A woman reported that $400 was stolen from her car while visiting a friend on the 5100 block of Maplewood Drive on Feb. 15. She told police that she suspected her friend’s brother. A juvenile boy was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Two juvenile boys were arrested for disorderly conduct on Feb. 16 at Greendale High School.
