Suspect told police he was selling the drug out of his residence for the past four years.

A 28-year-old Greendale man is facing charges after police seized nearly five pounds of marijuana and dozens of glass pipes from his apartment last week.

Kenneth J. Plumb was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Friday with one count possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison and $25,000 in fines.

On Oct. 12, police served a search warrant at Plumb’s apartment in the 6800 block of Highland Lane and found multiple bags of marijuana scattered throughout the home. In his bedroom, police found two bags labeled “cat piss” and “sour punch” along with two hood lights used to grow marijuana plants.

In a second bedroom in the home, police discovered several more bags of labeled marijuana, along with dozens of glass pipes for smoking the drug, a humidor full of jars of marijuana, a grocery bag full of mushrooms containing psilocybin.

Plumb’s refrigerator also contained chocolates and peanut butter cups he cooked using hash oil.

The only room in the house not containing drugs or paraphernalia was the bedroom for Plumb’s 6-year-old son.

The total amount of marijuana taken from the apartment weighed 4.8 pounds.

Plumb told police he’s unemployed but has been making money by working side jobs and selling marijuana. He told them he only sold out of his apartment and mostly to friends or people he smokes the drug with.

Plumb also told police he had been selling out of his apartment for the past four years.

Police also discovered a receipt for $4,000 Plumb had mailed to San Francisco the day before the raid, which he said was to pay for a backpack full of marijuana police found during the search of his residence.

Plumb is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing Oct. 24.
