Police were called to the couple’s home in the 5600 block of Root River Drive Saturday after they got into a fight during a children’s birthday party. Police were informed Dunham may have been “cut” during the argument.

After entering the home, officers shouted to Penson to get on the ground, but he refused. Eventually they were able to control him when he began to shout for them to leave the house and not enter the bedroom.

Police then searched the bedroom where they found more than 10 glass mason jars full of marijuana, three smoked marijuana blunt ends and $1,015 in cash. The marijuana weight 641.3 grams.

Dunham told police the two had lived together and Penson was a drug dealer. He was moving out of the house and the only reason he was at the residence the day of the arrest was to pick up the drugs and a video game console.

Penson is currently being held in Milwaukee County Jail. Dunham remains out of custody.
