Driver Arrested After Fleeing Accident, Police

This week's police reports also include a man who had banned from Southridge Mall stealing from a cell phone store.

These incidents are part of the Greendale Police Department's weekly call sheet from April 26-May 2.

Police pursued a vehicle that fled the scene of an accident at College Avenue and Root River Drive and arrested the driver for fleeing police, resisting, drunken driving, possession of drug paraphernalia and hit and run about 6:10 p.m. May 1. A caller said the driver appeared to not want to wait for police, threw his insurance card at her and left. Police took the man to Milwaukee County jail.

Two men were seen stealing cinder or landscape blocks from a residence near 76th Street and Overlook Drive about 3:20 p.m. April 29.

A man and woman were cited for underage drinking and loitering in the 5600 block of Churchway about 1:15 a.m. April 30.

A man was arrested for using a stolen credit card at Southridge about 2:15 p.m. April 30.

A man accused of stealing from Cellphonia in Southridge Mall was arrested for retail theft, disorderly conduct and trespassing about 8:10 p.m. April 30. The man had been banned from Southridge for one year effective last February. The man disposed of his citations in the police department parking lot after his release; police mailed the citations to his last known address and added a citation for littering.

Police cited an underage male who was found inside the Village Club, 6263 Sherwood Road, by an employee about 1:45 p.m. May 1.

A license plate was stolen off a vehicle in the parking lot of Southridge Mall between 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. May 2.
