Donut Doers Cause $5,000 in Damages

Five men were charged in Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office today.

On Monday, April 4, five men were arrested for causing $5,000 in damages by doing donuts with pick-up trucks in Root River Parkway near Grange Avenue, according to Greendale police.

The five men were charged in Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office on Thursday with criminal damage to property.

Originally a witness reported that 10 to 15 trucks were driving recklessly on the grass in the soccer field, however, Greendale police are now confident that only five trucks and individuals were involved.

Upon arrival officers were able to pull over four mud-covered pick-up trucks as they were leaving and arrested the men. Police were able to identify the fifth individual after interviewing the original four that were arrested.

"Officers found a substantial amount of damage to the grass and soccer areas of the Parkway," said Greendale police in a release.
