Decision for Greendale Police Chief Position Coming Soon

The Police and Fire Commission will meet on June 20 and 21.

The next Greendale Police Chief will be chosen soon after the Police and Fire Commission's June 21st meeting.

The commission has been meeting to discuss the candidates for the position. Robert Dams retired as police chief on December 31 and sine Bob Malasuk has been Interim Police Chief.Β 

David Wilmoth, president of the commission, said, "If we don't make a decision at the conclusion of the meeting on June 21, we expect to shortly thereafter."

The current candidates are Interim ChiefΒ  Malasuk; Randolph Pruss, the director of Security at Southridge Mall and former Captain of the Greendale Police Department; Eric G. Schroeder, the captain of the Franklin Police Department; Gregory A. Habeck, Assistant Chief of the UW-Milwaukee Police Department and former Assistant Chief of the Milwaukee Police Department; and Patrick M. Balistrier, a retired Deputy Chief of the West Allis Police Department.
