Alleged Shoplifter Caught With Cocaine in Her Purse
Suspect tells police she's just holding the drugs for a friend.
A 29-year-old Franklin woman is facing drug charges after she was caught allegedly carrying cocaine in her purse while shoplifting at.
Jennifer L. Copsey was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of possession of cocaine. If convicted, she faces up to one year in county jail and $5,000 in fines.

On July 17, Greendale police officers were called to after Copsey was detained for shoplifting. When officers arrived, they searched her purse and found 0.1 grams of cocaine hidden in a baggie inside a compartment in her purse.
Copsey told officers she was only holding the drugs for a friend.
