Gollish, Irene L. (Nee Klores) Of Greendale, died Sunday, September 9, 2012, age 94. Irene was born May 5, 1918, in Milwaukee and lived all her life in West Allis and Greendale. She is survived by husband, John E. "Jack" Gollish, to whom she was married for more than 67 years. Also surviving are Sharon (James) Koelsch, Seminole, FL; John (Debbie) Gollish, Palatine, IL; Victoria Gollish, Greenfield; sister Virginia Nelson, Brookfield; grandson Gregory Gollish, Westminster, CO; granddaughter Kristen Gollish Chicago, IL; grandson Eric Koelsch, St. Petersburg, FL, and granddaughter Rebecca (James) Thompson, Mountain Home, ID, together with nieces and nephews and other relatives. Irene worked as a homemaker during her early married life, but was employed at Marine Bank in downtown Milwaukee in later years. Irene was a talented amateur athlete, earning awards in tennis and badminton into the 1960's and later taking up golf. Visitation Thursday, September 13, 2012, from 9:30-11:00 AM at WISCONSIN MEMORIAL PARK, CHAPEL OF THE FLOWERS, 13235 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield. Brief funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow.
