Common Sense and Fiscal Responsiblity

Governor Walker's rejection of federal funds to improve health coverage and proposed cuts to individuals who make just $11,491 a year off BadgerCare is a costly and heartless mistake.

Governor Walker's rejection of federal funds to improve health
coverage and proposed cuts to individuals who make just $11,491 a year
off BadgerCare is a costly and heartless mistake. Our area Senator
Lazich should demand a return to common sense and fiscal
responsibility by reversing this proposed attack on health care
access.

While our economy is recovering, we need to be doing all we can to
support the health and well-being of hard working citizens. Taking
away access to preventative health care and adding a new financial
strain on individuals and health care providers will only lead to
delayed doctor visits and expensive uncompensated medical visits.
Putting off services like breast and cervical cancer screenings,
wellness exams, birth control refills and STD tests can lead to
serious and costly health consequences.

Senator Lazich can stop these dangerous proposals that risk the health
and financial well being of Wisconsin Families and health care
providers. Protect BadgerCare and accept federal resources to expand
health care access for families in need of affordable care.
