Having the "conversation"...

Having a discussion about end-of-life care and pre-planning for the future

It's one of the most important conversations a family can have, yet so many families fail to have it until its to late.  Having a profound discussion about end of life care takes no small amount of courage in looking ahead to the end of life.  Yet, families seem to get caught off guard when a situation comes about that those decisions need to be addressed and that time can become very stressful.  Especially now as we approach another holiday season families will gather for their holiday traditions and the subject if brought up seems to put fear in everyone involved.  Having a directive and plan in place for the envitable for all us helps those who are to handle the final decision making feel less stressful and know what their loved ones wishes were.

Pre-planning can help alleviate alot stress with families.  Knowing loved ones desire for their final wishes makes the most difficult decision easier now than later.  All questions that come up in the final arrangement conference can be completed beforehand.  Financial stresses are also involved in the decision process, with todays economy and families seemingly always under stress about which way the economy is going, pre-funding a funeral with insurance guarantees that the funeral expenses will be paid for when that time comes.  There are always questions, having the answers makes stressful situations easier to handle when they are presented to you in a non-stressful enviroment.  I am always available to sit and talk with families who have questions on pre-planning, you can also go to www.sunsetoptions.com to look up information about pre-planning or send me an email sunsetoptions@gmail.com or call 414-892-4126

We can look up to see who signed a recall of their elected official because of grievances, but weRead More cannot look up who donated large wads of ca$h to the same official's campaign...Thank you GOP for turning that window of open accountability into a one-way mirror with the GOP looking out and everyone else stuck looking inward, wandering why we don't get the same vantage point. A bit hypocritical don't you think? And BTW, your GOP budget just ticked off every principal, superintendent and public school family in the state of WI today. Good luck on that second term of negative growth (-0.74).

Jason- See the IRS for list of donors to pro republican groups. They were illegally collected andRead More distributed. You signed the recall, no one made you do it. Deal with it already and stop changing the subject to interject some off the wall non comparison. ~in solidarity

I think Scott Walker's record speaks for itself in terms of state job growth and misplacedRead More priorities. "Blue fisters" didn't create Scott Walker, he's been a creature of ALEC since the early 1990s. Let's see if he decides to do a Bachmann in 2014. A lot of people who didn't vote in the recall election because they didn't understand/agree may not have voted for him in 2010. Anyone who has a 20-something college grad who can't find a job, male spouse, family member or friend in their 50s who can't find a job, was cut from needed health care benefits, etc., is bound to be looking for better leadership.
