Come Early and Stay Late: Get a Head Start on Holiday Shopping at Southridge Mall

Greendale shoppers looking to stretch their dollar this holiday season will flock to Southridge Mall, Wisconsin’s largest and newly renovated shopping destination in Greendale, for more than 26 hours of Black Friday savings. Southridge Mall announced today that it will have extended holiday hours starting at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28 to greet shoppers and families eager to begin their holiday shopping for the 2013 season.

“Heading to Southridge Mall with family and friends is the perfect way to wrap up a holiday about gratitude and togetherness,” said Cheryl Rouse, director of marketing and business development at Southridge Mall. “Many families enjoy entertainment traditions around Thanksgiving, whether it’s sharing meals, going shopping, seeing a movie or watching a game together. We are excited to meet our customers’ different schedules and needs with the variety of retail and entertainment experiences they enjoy at Southridge Mall, plus extended opportunities for holiday ‘doorbusters’ and deals to be discovered.” 

Everyone can come walk off those Thanksgiving calories, while crossing names off their holiday lists and getting some great deals for themselves at Southridge Mall’s more than 125 retailers offering special Black Friday savings.  Top retailers include Macy’s, Boston Store, jcpenney, Kohl’s, Sears, H&M, LOFT, Francesca’s, PINK, Toys R’ Us, Old Navy, Disney Store, Victoria’s Secret and more. Shoppers can also pick up the perfect one-size fits all gift, an American Express® Simon® Giftcard or choose from more than 200 retailer gift cards at Simon Guest Services.

In addition, shoppers will be treated to special events and promotions during the Black Friday shopping weekend and all season long. The center is hosting Caring Santa, a special event dedicated to families with children with special needs, providing a subdued environment to visit this year’s Santa Claus Photo Experience, on Sunday, Dec. 8, from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Families are also invited to bring their furry, four-legged family members to the center for Pet Photos with Santa on Monday, Dec. 9 and Monday, Dec. 16, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
