Education Foundation Celebration June 1

The Education Foundation of Greendale raises money for technology and educational programs in the Greendale School District.  We're only two days away from our annual fundraiser. The annual Celebration of Education is Friday, June 1, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at Tuckaway Country Club, 6901 W. Drexel Avenue in Franklin. 

Some great auction and raffle items have been donated, including Packer tickets, a ride on a Greendale Fire Truck, and Vera Bradley bags. You can still get a ticket on our website, www.efgreendale.org, or at the door the night of the event. Tickets are $30. 

The evening will include live music from the Greendale High School Jazz Band, raffle items, limited auction items, hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. We will present our Inspiration Awards to Dee Dixon and Manchester Investments, for their support of Greendale Schools. We'll also have a special tribute to our retiring teachers and staff, and say farewell to Dr. William Hughes. Today’s TMJ4 news anchor Vince Vitrano will be our emcee for this year’s event. 

We want to thank everyone who has supported us, parents, businesses and residents. That support has allowed  the Education Foundation of Greendale to provide extra resources to Greendale Schools that help our students be top achievers, as evidenced by our recent recognition as one of the Best Schools by Milwaukee Magazine.
