Scott Walker Has Got to be the World's Worst Eagle Scout - Ever!

The good people of WI have recently become aware that our Governor is at the center of an FBI John Doe investigation as to whether or not his staffers were using work time and computers to promote his run for Governor while he was still County Executive (at the taxpayer's expense). Sounds like a waste of tax payer $ to me, especially for a fiscal conservative who is willing to chop public education and Medicaid for the poor to save a few bucks.

When asked whether or not he is worried about the investigation Walker said, "I know that throughout my career - first in the Legislature, then as county executive and now for the last 10 months as governor - I live by the standards I got from my parents - Certainly, they got me to the rank of Eagle Scout, and I continue to have that kind of integrity."

What Scott Walker doesn't understand is that it does not take "integrity" to take health care away from the poor and disabled, it does not take integrity to make it more difficult for thousands of poor, elderly, disabled and college students to vote, and it certainly does not take integrity to steal funds for public education and dump that cash into the hands of big business who simply distribute it amongst their board members and CEO's.

It does NOT take integrity to take from those less fortunate and give to those who already have more (lower-paid state workers now contribute twice the amount of their salary towards retirement and health care that higher-paid state workers do).

That is NOT integrity Mr. Walker - that is called bullying. And if he thinks he is still behaving like the Eagle Scout he one time might have been, well I think I have found a couple of the last badges he earned.
