It’s the third year of Buffoonery from Greendale.
Greendale Community Theatre presents The Buffoonery Project: Off the Cuffoonery, April 19th and 20th.
Two years ago, Greendale Community Theatre started a project with the goal of putting together a spring show that was nothing but ridiculous.
The first Buffoonery project featured four actors that performed three musicals (Annie, Sound of Music and Oklahoma) all within 75 minutes.
The second played on the popular Broadway theme of movie musicals and portrayed never before seen musicals based on movies that will never be considered on Broadway (Die Hard the Musical, Speed the Musical, Bridesmaids the Musical, etc.)

This year, the Buffoons have come together again and wrote…. Well, nothing.
This year’s Buffoonery Project entitled The Buffoonery Project: Off the Cuffoonery features some of Greendale Community Theatre’s best actors singing and dancing a musical that no one has ever heard of before, including them.

The show begins with stand-up comedy, quickly moves on to improvised songs and ends with a full out made up musical, band and all, based off of an audience suggestion.
