Shoppers can enjoy the annual "A Dickens of A Christmas" and buy local to support Greendale businesses and community organizations.
The Greendale Historical Society will have novelty items for sale—the 2013 Then and Now calendar, specialty baskets, wooden replicas of the Originals, holiday cards and other great gift items—all part of their fundraising efforts to support transformation of the Hose Tower into a community gathering space. A free bag of candy will be offered to the first 100 children accompanied by a parent on Friday evening.
Stop in at the Village Education Center on Broad Street to try a free sample of the Society's Victory Garden Bean Soup or warm up with a hot cup of Nature’s Perfect Roast, a blend of the Broad Street Coffee Company who donates a portion of the proceeds to the Society.
Proceeds benefit the adaptive re-use of the Greendale Grounds Building and Hose Tower into community gathering space.
