MARC Pet of the Week: Hudson

Introducing, Hudson! This sweet dog is looking for his forever home.

This kid is perfect! Hudson (full name: Hudson Millhouse III) is a six-month-old pit bull terrier mix, and he's all love. It's hard to get anything done when Hudson is around because he would much prefer you snuggle with him - the second his humans sit down, he makes sure their lap is occupied. He lives in foster care with another social dog in a home with lots of neighborhood kid visitors and he thinks all of them are great, great, great. He's just a happy kid with a bright future, and he sure is thankful for that.

Hudson's ideal home will continue his basic training (he's doing great with that, by the way!) and commit to regular exercise and lots and lots of love. He's a good boy in a crate and walks nicely on a leash. ("So let's take lots of walks!" he says.)

For more information about Hudson and the other animals at Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center, visit the website at milwaukeearc.org and click on 'adopt' to download the adoption application. If you are interested in meeting this really great boy, return your application to the Center during open hours or by fax, 414-421-8801, to set up a meeting with the foster parent. All adoptable dogs are housed in volunteer foster homes and available for meetings by appointment only. Most adoptable cats are housed at the Center and available to meet during open hours.

Visit us at 5217 S. 51st in Greenfield (on the corner of 51st & Loomis).

Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center hours:

  • Tuesdays 3-7pm
  • Thursdays 3-7pm
  • Saturdays 12-3pm

*or by appointment.

Those interested in potential adoption should plan to arrive at the Center at least 30 minutes prior to close so the adoption counselor has adequate time to devote to the visit.
