Advance Ticket Sale for Summer Badger Band Event

Advance Ticket Sales this Friday and Saturday

Before being offered to the general public, this Friday and Saturday tickets will be sold to Greendale residents for this summer's 'Fifth Quarter Performance by Members of the Badger Band'.  The details of the sale are:

Greendale Safety Center - 5911 W. Grange Ave 

  Friday January 11 - 12:00pm to 7:00pm

  Saturday January 12 - 9:00am to 3:00pm

                 Price per Ticket: $5.00  

(Note: cash preferred, credit cards not able to be processed)

This year Greendale is celebrating its 75th Anniversary. The Greendale Public Celebrations Committee, working under the direction of the Village President and the Village Trustees, have planned a fabulous party for Village Days 2013. One of the grand events planned is the performance by members of the Badger Band starting at 6:30pm on Thursday August 8th, 2013 at Gavinski Stadium. Making it more special is that our own Greendale Pom Pons, Cheerleaders and the G-Harmony Vocal Ensemble will kick off the evening's entertainment. And what else does any good party need? Why munchies of course. No problem with that. The Greendale Panthers Youth Football organization will be handling concession sales when the gates open at 5:00pm.  

This unique one of a kind event for Greendale is being sponsored by Jim & Bonnie Cyganiak and Family.  It goes beyond saying how much their contribution to Greendale's 75th Diamond Celebration is appreciated. Their generosity is very special, very 'Greendale'.

The Greendale School District also needs to be thanked for providing the 'Stephen J. Gavinski Memorial Stadium' as the site for the event. Some of the band members joining in the Fifth Quarter Performance this summer are former members of Greendale's own Award Winning High School Marching Band. They are spreading the word to other members of the Badger Band about how exciting this event is going to be, and how much fun.

But that's not all. Later the same evening at 9:30pm on Broad Street there will be a Laser Light show. How's that for an 'infomercial'. You get not one, but two outstanding events on the same evening. In between these events you can party on Broad Street at the Lions, American Legion, and Greendale Entertainment Association food and entertainment areas.

Following the Advance Ticket Sale to Greendale residents, starting on Monday January 14th, tickets for this event can be purchased at the Greendale Public Library, and on the website www.greendalecelebrations.org
