The Week Behind, The Week Ahead for Greendale

If you left your heart on Broad Street over the weekend, hopefully you pick it up in time for the week to begin anew Monday.

Shopping specials, ice sculpting and ice skating were among the "I Left My Heart on Broad Street" festivities in the Village capping the week on Saturday. Check out Patch's photo gallery here.

Also in the news last week was the sentencing of a 17-year-old who made a bomb threat at Greendale High School during homecoming. Nicholas Olson was sentenced to serve a week in jail and a year on probation.

Meanwhile, the owners of Prescott Miller have opened Smaxx and Kade, another jewelry store right next door in downtown Greendale.

So what lies ahead this week?

Among the events on tap are the Athletic Booster Club's Casino Night fundraiser Saturday night at the Tuckaway Country Club. Greendale Youth Football registration is also happening Saturday.
