Over 800 Greendale Residents Without Power, Including Village Center

As of 4:38 p.m. 822 Greendale We Energy customers were without power. Village Center businesses were also without power causing some to close.

There was power outage in the Village Center and the "M" section between Grange Avenue and Edgerton Avenue on Monday afternoon.

As of 4:38 p.m. 822 Greendale homes were without power, according to the We Enegies outage map. Milwaukee County had a total of 5,432 customers without power at the same time.

Village Center businesses were also without power. Business that normally stayed open later closed, such as Ricardo's Pizza and Joey Gerards.

Greenale Police posted on their Facebook that WE Energies has been informed and are attempting to fix the problem as soon as they can. Only call the Police Department if you have a power line down or for other emergencies.

Update: As of 9:46 p.m. 39 Greendale customers were without power.
