Celebrate Greendale's 75th with the Brewers, Deadline Extended

Greendale is finding many ways to celebrate its 75th anniversary, and the May Brewers game and tailgate is the latest option. Tickets for both are available now through early April.

UPDATE: Organizers have extended the date for ticket sales for this event, but have not given a new deadline. We'll post it as soon as we get the information.

Original story:Celebrate Greendale's 75th anniversary while you cheer for the Milwaukee Brewers on May 5. 

The tailgate party starts at 10:30 a.m. at Greendale High School (rain or shine), and school bus transportation will be provided to Miller Park. The game—between the Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals—begins at 1:10 p.m. Tailgate tickets are $5 each, and may be purchased at the Greendale Park and Recreation Department in the Greendale Public Library through April 26. Sale hours are 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday, hours extended to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Pay by cash or check. Tailgate ticket includes choice of hamburger, brat or hot dog, chips, cookie and soft drink. Children under the age of 3 are not permitted to ride on the school bus.

Game tickets must be purchased online, through April 5, using a special Greendale ticketing site managed by the Brewers. Tickets are $20 each plus a handling fee.
